Terms of use
The agreement between you and Basstion Forge LLC for playing Forgeflight.
Effective October 30, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Basstion Forge LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs Forgeflight. By playing you agree to them and to our Privacy policy.
Who can play
Forgeflight is for players aged 13 and up. If you're under 18, you may play only with a parent's or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you. In the app store versions, players under 18 need a parent's approval in the store to download the game or buy anything.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play Forgeflight for your own entertainment. Skins, Forge Club perks, Embers and power-ups are licences to use digital items inside the game, not ownership of them. When you “buy” an item you are buying a licence, not ownership: it has no cash value, can't be sold, traded or transferred, and lasts only while the game is offered and your profile exists. We may end a licence if you break these terms, or if we end the game (see below). Deleting your data ends access to what you bought, and so can losing both your phone and your recovery code.
Embers
Embers are earned by playing and can't be bought or cashed out. We may correct Embers or scores that come from a bug, a refund or cheating.
Purchases and refunds
- Skin sets are one-time purchases of a licence to use that set in the game.
- We show the price and what you get before you confirm. Website prices are in US dollars and include tax; payment is handled by Stripe. In the App Store and Google Play apps, the store sets the local price, charges you and handles tax.
- Website purchases: if something you bought doesn't work, email us within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund it. App store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- There are no random paid rewards, and Embers can't be bought.
Forge Club subscription
- Forge Club costs the price shown when you join ($2.99 a month or $19.99 a year on the website). It renews automatically and charges you at the start of every month or year until you cancel. There is no free trial.
- Cancel any time, online, with no need to contact us: on the website in Settings → Manage subscription, or in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You can also email us and we'll cancel it for you. Club stays on to the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Partial periods aren't refunded except where the law or the store requires.
- If the price changes, we'll tell you at least 7 days (and no more than 30 days) before it applies, and you can cancel before then. On the website, yearly members also get an email reminder before each renewal; website notices come by email from Stripe, our payment processor. In the app stores, Apple or Google send these notices.
- If we end Forge Club, we'll stop renewals and refund the unused part of a website subscription.
Community rules (names, chats and conduct)
- Forgeflight has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive players. In nicknames, Squad names, messages, Squad chats, gift notes and reactions, don't post slurs, hate, bullying or harassment, sexual content, threats or violence, anything that endangers children, spam, other people's real names or private information, impersonation, links, or contact details such as emails, phone numbers or social handles.
- Names and messages are checked by a word filter, and links and contact details are refused. Reactions marked 18+ (Spicy) are off unless you switch them on and confirm you're 18 or older.
- Report a name from the ⋯ button on a Squad board or a friend card, or report a message by tapping it. A reported message leaves your chat at once. Hide a player from the same places (or from any of their messages): you stop seeing them and their messages, and neither of you can message the other. The team is told about every report and every hide.
- We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and can stop a player from sending messages, remove their name, or suspend or delete their profile. Names or messages reported by several players are hidden right away until we review them.
- Don't cheat, tamper with the game or its servers, or use bots: leaderboard scores are checked by replaying your run.
- Embers are a free game currency with no cash value: they can't be bought, sold or cashed out, and Battles are friendly score contests for Embers only.
- To report abuse or ask about a decision: support@basstionforge.com.
Changes and ending the game
We may change, add or remove features, items and prices. We may end the game; if we do, we'll stop selling first and give at least 30 days' notice in the app. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll show the change in the app before it applies; if you keep playing, the new terms apply.
No warranty
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Basstion Forge LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50, whichever is more. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut, United States. Before filing a claim, email us so we can try to resolve it within 30 days. Claims go to the state or federal courts of Connecticut, unless your local law gives you the right to bring them where you live, or in small-claims court.
App stores
- If you got Forgeflight from the App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for the game, its content, support and maintenance, and for handling any claim about it.
- For the iPhone and iPad app, your licence covers Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's Usage Rules allow. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the app's price (if any); Apple has no other warranty duty. Apple is not responsible for product-liability, consumer-protection or intellectual-property claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- You confirm that you aren't in a country under a US embargo and aren't on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties. The store's own terms also apply.
