Privacy policy
Effective October 25, 2026. Short version: we collect what you send us, we use it to reply, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
When you request a briefing we receive your name, email address, organization and the message you write. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to run and secure the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare for a briefing.
- To keep records of our conversations if you become a client.
- To protect the site from abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run this site and our email, such as our web host and email provider. They may only use it to provide those services.
How long we keep it
Briefing requests that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as our contract and the law require.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing austinbass@basstionforge.com.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
